| I have always been fascinated with Japanese | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| art, and in particular shoji and Byôbu | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| screens, after 2 years of research and | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| development, my newest venture is a 3 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| panel freestanding folding screens. The | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| screens are 6’ tall by 5’7" wide. They | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| feature my original watercolor paintings on | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| paper, sealed with a UV protective matte varnish and are mounted to archival panels for | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| durability, and longevity. The panels are then inserted into a hand-crafted frame (of my | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| tenon joinery, using a variety of choice | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| hardwoods. All Materials used are of | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| archival quality, to create an heirloom | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
